Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 can Refrigerated Biscuit Dough Soft and pillowy, serves as the outer layer.
  • 1 lb Ground Beef Rich in flavor, provides hearty filling.
  • 2 tbsp Taco Seasoning Adds zesty flavor to the beef.
  • 8 oz Cheddar Cheese Cubes Melts beautifully and adds richness.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Cook the Ground Beef: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, break the beef apart as it cooks. Once browned, sprinkle in the taco seasoning and stir until evenly coated. Cook until no pink remains, then remove from heat and let the meat cool.
  • Prepare the Dough: Open the can of biscuit dough and separate each piece. Gently press or roll each biscuit into a thin, even circle about four inches across.
  • Add the Filling: Place about one tablespoon of the cooled seasoned meat in the center of each dough round and add a cube of cheddar cheese on top.
  • Seal the Bombs: Bring the edges of the dough up and over the filling, pinching them firmly closed.

Cooking

  • Air Fry: Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper. Arrange the filled taco bombs in a single layer in the basket.
  • Cook to Perfection: Set your air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and cook for five to seven minutes until the tops are deep golden and the dough feels firm.

Serving

  • Serve Hot: Remove the taco bombs from the basket and serve immediately, pairing with salsa, sour cream, or your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For healthier alternatives, consider using ground turkey or chicken, whole-wheat biscuit dough, and dairy-free cheese. Ensure the dough is sealed tightly to prevent leaks during cooking.
