Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Fresh Spinach Well-drained and chopped.
  • 4 oz Cream Cheese Softened for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese Shredded.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese Grated.
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Adds aromatic depth.
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder Complementary flavor.
  • 1/4 tsp Salt To taste.
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper Freshly cracked.
  • 1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes Optional for a kick.
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese Shredded, for topping.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 350°F.
  • Prepare the Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix together the fresh spinach, cream cheese, mozzarella, parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Shape the Mixture: Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop portions of the spinach mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, keeping them 2 inches apart. Flatten each mound gently into a 1/4-inch thick disc.
  • Top with Cheddar: Generously sprinkle cheddar cheese over each disc.
  • Bake: Place in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  • Cool and Serve: Allow the crisps to cool for 3-5 minutes on the baking sheet.

Storage

  • For the best results, store leftover crisps in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days, separating layers with parchment paper.

Notes

Consider using low-fat cream cheese or dairy-free alternatives for healthier options. Store in an airtight container and reheat in a toaster oven at 350°F for about 3 minutes.
