Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients

  • 1 cup dates, pitted Sweet and chewy, perfect natural sweetener.
  • 1/4 cup honey Adds floral sweetness; can substitute with agave or maple syrup for vegan option.
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds Provides crunch and omega-3 fatty acids.
  • 2 tablespoons ground flax seeds Rich in fiber, complements sweetness.

Mix-Ins

  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats Heart-healthy and filling.
  • 1/2 cup pistachios, chopped Nutty flavor that adds crunch.
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped Tart contrast to sweetness.
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips Adds a decadent sweetness.
  • 1 pinch salt Enhances sweetness.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Combine dates, honey, chia seeds, ground flax seeds, and salt in a food processor. Pulse until smooth. Add more honey if too dry.
  • Transfer mixture to a bowl and mix in oats, pistachios, cranberries, and white chocolate chips until combined.
  • Cover the bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  • Once chilled, roll the mixture into 1-inch balls or press into a lined baking pan for bars.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

For longer storage, freeze any leftovers wrapped tightly. Allow to thaw at room temperature before enjoying.
