Description
A vibrant dish that balances sweet and tangy flavors with succulent salmon fillets and a zingy lime butter sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- Zest of 1 lime
- 2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley, for garnish
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper to taste. Arrange them neatly on the prepared baking sheet.
- Whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, honey, lime juice, and lime zest until well combined.
- Drizzle the honey lime garlic butter mixture evenly over each salmon fillet, ensuring they are well coated.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. If you prefer a more golden top, broil for the last 2-3 minutes, being careful not to let it burn.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
Notes
For a richer flavor, consider adding a pinch of chili flakes. Use pre-minced garlic to cut down prep time.
