  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups uncooked mostaccioli pasta
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Begin by heating a large skillet over medium heat and browning the ground beef until it’s fully cooked. Don’t forget to drain the fat.
  2. Next, add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and diced bell pepper to the skillet. Cook until tender and fragrant.
  3. Once the beef and vegetable mixture is complete, transfer it to your slow cooker.
  4. Stir in the marinara sauce, canned diced tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Cover your slow cooker and cook on low for 240 minutes.
  6. After 240 minutes, add the uncooked mostaccioli pasta to the slow cooker, ensuring it is well-coated with the sauce.
  7. Finally, sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Cover and cook for an additional 60 minutes on low.
