- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 jar marinara sauce
- 20 jumbo pasta shells, cooked and drained
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Add olive oil to a skillet over medium heat, and then add ground turkey, browning until fragrant.
- Stir in minced garlic, fresh spinach, and dried oregano; cook until spinach wilts.
- Combine turkey mixture with ricotta and 1 cup mozzarella; mix until well blended.
- Stuff cooked pasta shells with the mixture and arrange in a greased baking dish.
- Pour marinara sauce over shells and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; then uncover and bake for an additional 5 minutes until cheese is golden.
- Serve hot, enjoying with family and friends!
Notes
Avoid overcooking the pasta and always taste the filling for seasoning. You can prepare these in advance and refrigerate before baking.
