Description

Delightful turkey and spinach stuffed shells enveloped in creamy ricotta and melty mozzarella, perfect for cozy family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 20 jumbo pasta shells, cooked and drained
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Add olive oil to a skillet over medium heat, and then add ground turkey, browning until fragrant.
  3. Stir in minced garlic, fresh spinach, and dried oregano; cook until spinach wilts.
  4. Combine turkey mixture with ricotta and 1 cup mozzarella; mix until well blended.
  5. Stuff cooked pasta shells with the mixture and arrange in a greased baking dish.
  6. Pour marinara sauce over shells and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; then uncover and bake for an additional 5 minutes until cheese is golden.
  8. Serve hot, enjoying with family and friends!

Notes

Avoid overcooking the pasta and always taste the filling for seasoning. You can prepare these in advance and refrigerate before baking.
