- 1/2 cup Cream Cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 cup Strawberries, diced
- 4 Tortillas, 6 inches
- 2 tbsp Butter, softened
- 1 tsp Sugar, for sprinkling
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- Strawberry sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Add the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract to a mixing bowl. Beat them together until smooth and creamy.
- Fold in the diced strawberries to create a delightful strawberry cream cheese blend.
- Spread half of this mixture across one tortilla.
- Melt 1 teaspoon of butter in a medium-high heated pan.
- Lay the tortilla (cream cheese side up) into the pan.
- Brush a second tortilla with another teaspoon of butter and lay it on top, butter side up.
- Cook both sides for 2-3 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl and sprinkle it over the quesadilla while still hot.
- Repeat for the second quesadilla, then let them sit for 2 minutes before slicing into wedges for serving.
Notes
Serve warm for the best melting experience with the cream cheese. Pop in a toaster oven for a quick reheat.
