- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
- Prepare the Peppers: Wash the bell peppers, trim off the tops, and remove the ribs and seeds.
- Cook the Filling: In a skillet, spray with cooking oil and add ground beef and onions. Cook until beef is browned and onions are translucent, then add garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Combine the Ingredients: Mix the beef mixture with cooked rice, ½ cup tomato sauce, and 1 cup cheddar cheese.
- Stuff the Peppers: Fill each pepper with the mixture and place them upright in a slow cooker.
- Add the Sauce: Pour remaining tomato sauce over the stuffed peppers.
- Slow Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4 ½ to 5 ½ hours.
- Cheese It Up: In the last 5 to 10 minutes, sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
- Serve and Enjoy: Serve warm with optional toppings like extra cheese or fresh herbs.
