Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the tart crust by blind-baking it for 10-12 minutes until golden.
- While the crust cools, pour your egg whites into a mixing bowl.
- Beat them with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
- Gradually incorporate the granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Add vanilla extract, and fold gently to combine.
- Spoon or pipe the meringue onto the cooled tart crust.
- Bake the meringue for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Once the meringue cools, arrange the strawberries on top.
- Dust with powdered sugar and add mint leaves for decoration.
Notes
Ensure your egg whites are free from yolk for best results. Experiment with a piping bag for decorative peaks.
