Instructions

  1. Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to the package instructions and let it cool completely on a wire rack.
  2. Whip the heavy cream in a large mixing bowl, adding powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  3. Cut the cooled cake into small, bite-sized cubes.
  4. Layer chocolate cake cubes at the base of a large trifle dish.
  5. Add a layer of chocolate pudding over the cake.
  6. Spread a layer of whipped cream evenly across the pudding.
  7. Sprinkle sliced strawberries atop the whipped cream.
