  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional)

Instructions

  2. Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Add the softened butter to the flour mixture and cut it into coarse crumbs.

  13. Pour the strawberry mixture over the rolls.
  14. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

For extra flavor, add cinnamon to the dough or drizzle melted chocolate over the top after baking.
