- 1/4 cup powdered sugar

- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
- Add the softened butter to the flour mixture and cut it into coarse crumbs.
- Gradually mix in the milk and vanilla extract until a soft dough forms.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently until smooth.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add the heavy whipping cream and beat until thick and fluffy.
- Spread the cream cheese filling evenly across the dough.
- Roll up the dough from the longer side and slice into 1-inch thick rolls.
- Arrange the rolls in the prepared baking dish.
- Cook the strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch in a saucepan until softened.
- Pour the strawberry mixture over the rolls.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool slightly before serving and top with whipped cream if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, add cinnamon to the dough or drizzle melted chocolate over the top after baking.
