- 1 box of white cake mix (plus specified ingredients on the box)
- 1/2 cup of mashed strawberries
- 16 oz of cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups of heavy cream
- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
- 1 cup of diced strawberries
- Whole strawberries for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and prepare your cake pans.
- Prepare the cake batter following the instructions on the box, adding the mashed strawberries.
- Pour the batter into the pans and bake until golden, as directed.
- Cool the layers completely after baking.
- Beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract and mix until velvety.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture into a greased pan and bake for 35-40 minutes until set.
- Allow it to cool completely.
- Whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until stiff peaks form.
- Assemble the cake layers with alternating cheesecake and diced strawberries.
- Frost the entire cake with whipped cream.
- Garnish with whole strawberries and chill before serving.
