Description

A decadent dessert blending luscious layers of white cake and creamy cheesecake, topped with fresh strawberries and whipped cream.


Ingredients

  • 1 box of white cake mix (plus specified ingredients on the box)
  • 1/2 cup of mashed strawberries
  • 16 oz of cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups of heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 cup of diced strawberries
  • Whole strawberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and prepare your cake pans.
  2. Prepare the cake batter following the instructions on the box, adding the mashed strawberries.
  3. Pour the batter into the pans and bake until golden, as directed.
  4. Cool the layers completely after baking.
  5. Beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth.
  6. Add the eggs and vanilla extract and mix until velvety.
  7. Pour the cheesecake mixture into a greased pan and bake for 35-40 minutes until set.
  8. Allow it to cool completely.
  9. Whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until stiff peaks form.
  10. Assemble the cake layers with alternating cheesecake and diced strawberries.
  11. Frost the entire cake with whipped cream.
  12. Garnish with whole strawberries and chill before serving.
