Description

A flavor-packed burger featuring juicy beef, creamy pepper jack cheese, and spicy jalapeños.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80% lean)
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices pepper jack cheese
  • 1 fresh jalapeño, sliced (seeds removed for less heat)
  • 1/2 red onion, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lettuce, for garnish (optional)
  • Pickles, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or stovetop griddle over medium-high heat.
  2. Combine mayonnaise, Sriracha sauce, ketchup, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a small bowl.
  3. Form the ground beef into four equal-sized patties, seasoning each one generously.
  4. Oil the grill or griddle lightly with olive oil.
  5. Place your burger patties on the grill and cook for approximately 4-5 minutes per side.
  6. Add a slice of pepper jack cheese on each patty just before they are done.
  7. Toast your hamburger buns lightly on the grill or in a toaster.
  8. Assemble your burgers by spreading the spicy mayo sauce on the bottom half of each toasted bun.
  9. Top with the burger patties, jalapeño slices, red onion, and any additional garnishes.
  10. Complete with the top half of the bun and serve immediately!

Notes

For extra flavor, mix spices into the ground beef and experiment with toppings.
