Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup Nutella
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
  3. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar in another bowl until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg, followed by the red food coloring and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Scoop a tablespoon of dough, flatten it, fill with Nutella, and roll it into a ball.
  8. Place the cookie dough balls on the prepared baking sheet with enough space between them.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.
  10. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
