Description

Ingredients

  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Layer the marinara sauce into the slow cooker.
  2. Follow with the heavy cream and swirl together.
  3. Sprinkle in the Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Gently mix until well combined.
  6. Add the cheese tortellini and stir to coat.
  7. Cover and cook on low for about 4 hours.
  8. In the last 15 minutes, add the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  9. Stir until melted and creamy.
