Description

Delicious Salisbury Steak Meatballs are a blend of juicy meatballs in rich gravy, evoking comfort and nostalgia for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef (80/20)
  • 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup
  • 1 tsp Mustard
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Seasoned Salt
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 Onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp Flour or Cornstarch
  • 2 cups Beef Broth

Instructions

  1. Mix ingredients: Combine ground beef, panko, egg, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, mustard, onion powder, and seasoned salt in a large bowl. Roll into 1.5-inch meatballs.
  2. Sear the meatballs: Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear meatballs until browned on all sides. Set aside.
  3. Caramelize the onions: In the same skillet, melt butter and cook sliced onions until golden brown.
  4. Make the gravy: Add flour to caramelized onions and stir. Gradually whisk in beef broth, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and seasoned salt. Simmer until thickened.
  5. Simmer meatballs with gravy: Return meatballs to the pan, cover with gravy, and simmer for 10-12 minutes.
