  • 1/4 cup softened butter
  • 1/4 cup softened cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Mix warm milk, active dry yeast, and sugar in a bowl and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Combine flour, melted butter, egg, vanilla extract, and red food coloring in a separate bowl.
  3. Add the yeast mixture to the flour mix.
  4. Knead the dough gently, then transfer it to an oiled bowl.
  5. Cover the dough with a kitchen towel and let it rise in a warm place for 60 minutes.
  6. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  7. Spread softened butter over the surface, then sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  8. Roll the dough into a log and slice it into 12 rolls.
  9. Arrange the rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and let them rise for 30 minutes.
  10. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  11. Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  12. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract for frosting.
  13. Drizzle the frosting over the warm rolls.
