Instructions
- Mix warm milk, active dry yeast, and sugar in a bowl and let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Combine flour, melted butter, egg, vanilla extract, and red food coloring in a separate bowl.
- Add the yeast mixture to the flour mix.
- Knead the dough gently, then transfer it to an oiled bowl.
- Cover the dough with a kitchen towel and let it rise in a warm place for 60 minutes.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
- Spread softened butter over the surface, then sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll the dough into a log and slice it into 12 rolls.
- Arrange the rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and let them rise for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract for frosting.
- Drizzle the frosting over the warm rolls.
