- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
- Fresh raspberries for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven and prepare the red velvet cake according to package instructions.
- Bake in a 9×13-inch pan and let cool completely before cutting into cubes.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth, then add vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream and sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
- In a trifle dish or glasses, layer red velvet cake cubes followed by cheesecake filling. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
- Top with cheesecake filling and garnish if desired.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
For an even richer flavor, consider using buttermilk instead of water in your red velvet cake mix.
