- 4 cups powdered sugar

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans or line with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking soda, cocoa powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Whisk together the vegetable oil, buttermilk, eggs, red food coloring, vanilla extract, and white vinegar in a large mixing bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Divide the batter evenly between the cake pans and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Beat the cream cheese and butter until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar until the frosting is thick and fluffy.
- Frost the first cake layer, add the second layer, and frost the top and sides of the cake with the remaining frosting.
- Slice and serve the cake.
