Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter in a medium bowl, then whisk in the sugar until silky.
- Add the eggs one by one, mixing thoroughly after each.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and red food coloring.
- Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
- Spread the brownie batter evenly into the lined pan.
- Beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add another egg and the vanilla extract.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture onto the brownie batter and swirl gently.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
