- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard

- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 (9-inch) refrigerated pie crust
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- Pickles (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the pie crust in your pie pan.
- Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic and sauté until the beef is browned and the onions softened.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper. Let cool.
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, and flour until smooth.
- Gently stir in the melted butter, ketchup, and mustard.
- Spread the cooked beef mixture over the pie crust, then sprinkle with cheeses.
- Pour the egg mixture over the cheese and beef.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and set.
- Cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with pickles if desired.
Notes
For added flavor, consider incorporating chopped bell peppers or jalapeños. This pie can be made ahead of time by preparing the filling a day prior.
