Description

A refreshing treat capturing the essence of summer with a delightful sweet-tart blend of fresh lemons and cranberry.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup cranberry juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine the water and sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat and stir until dissolved.
  2. Remove from heat and allow the syrup to cool to room temperature.
  3. Add the lemon juice, cranberry juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract, and stir to combine.
  4. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and place it in the freezer.
  5. Stir the mixture every 30 minutes for 3–4 hours until a desired frozen consistency is reached.
  6. Serve immediately or scoop into an airtight container for storage.
