A decadent Pecan Praline Poke Cake that combines a moist yellow cake with rich caramel, sweetened condensed milk, and crunchy pecans.

- 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Additional chopped pecans for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, prepare the yellow cake mix according to the package instructions, adding the eggs and water.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool for about 10 minutes.
- Poke holes all over the warm cake using a wooden spoon.
- Mix the sweetened condensed milk and caramel sauce in a separate bowl, then pour over the warm cake.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
- In a chilled bowl, beat the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- Spread the whipped cream over the chilled cake, top with additional pecans and caramel sauce before serving.
Notes
For optimal flavor, chill the cake overnight and use cold heavy cream for whipping. You can substitute walnuts or almonds for pecans if desired.
