Enjoy the delightful combination of classic peach cobbler and creamy cheesecake in these tender donuts filled with cheesecake and topped with caramelized peaches.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup canned peach slices, drained and chopped
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for filling)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for topping)
  • 1/2 cup fresh peaches, diced
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a donut pan.
  2. Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large mixing bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped canned peaches.
  6. Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each mold about 3/4 full.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow the donuts to cool briefly before transferring them to a wire rack.
  9. Beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
  10. In a saucepan, melt the butter and add the diced peaches, brown sugar, and cinnamon, cooking for 5-7 minutes until softened.
  11. Fill the cooled donuts with the cheesecake mixture using a piping bag.
  12. Spoon the warm peach topping over the filled donuts before serving.

Notes

Ensure not to overmix the batter for the best texture. Let the donuts cool adequately before filling.
