Description

This cheesy garlic bread features a crusty exterior with a fluffy interior, topped with melted mozzarella and parmesan, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of crusty French bread
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cloves of fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp of dried oregano
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp of freshly chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise.
  3. Combine softened butter, minced garlic, oregano, garlic powder, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  4. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on both halves of the bread.
  5. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella followed by grated parmesan over the garlic butter.
  6. Place the prepared bread on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle fresh parsley once out of the oven, slice, and serve warm.
