Description

A delightful dessert that combines chocolate chip cookie dough and creamy vanilla ice cream, enhanced with colorful M&M’s.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of chocolate chip cookie dough (pre-made or homemade)
  • 2 cups of vanilla ice cream (softened)
  • 1 cup of M&M’s candy
  • 1/2 cup of mini chocolate chips
  • 1 cup of whipped cream
  • 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup of chocolate syrup (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the chocolate chip cookie dough into a rectangle shape on the parchment paper.
  3. Bake the cookie dough according to package instructions (10-12 minutes), until golden brown. Allow to cool completely.
  4. Soften the vanilla ice cream in a large mixing bowl and stir in the M&M’s and mini chocolate chips.
  5. Flip the cooled cookie dough onto a large piece of wax paper, peeling off the parchment paper.
  6. Spread the softened ice cream mixture evenly over the cookie dough.
  7. Roll the cookie dough into a log from one short edge using the wax paper.
  8. Freeze the cake roll for at least two hours.
  9. Whip the cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  10. Spread the whipped cream over the chilled cake roll.
  11. Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top and sprinkle extra M&M’s if desired.
