Description

A luscious dessert that combines creamy cheesecake, rich chocolate cake, and a refreshing hint of mint.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 2 cups mint chocolate fudge, melted
  • 2 cups whipped cream for topping
  • 1/4 cup crushed mint chocolate candies (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the chocolate graham cracker crumbs with sugar and melted butter in a medium bowl.
  3. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  4. Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes until fragrant and slightly set.
  5. Set aside to cool.
  6. Beat the softened cream cheese in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  7. Add the powdered sugar and peppermint extract, blending until fully integrated.
  8. Pour in the heavy cream, mixing until fluffy.
  9. Fold in the mini chocolate chips gently.
  10. Spread the cheesecake layer evenly over the cooled crust.
  11. Pour the melted mint chocolate fudge over the cheesecake layer.
  12. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  13. Top generously with whipped cream and sprinkle with crushed mint chocolate candies if desired.
