Description

This comforting Million Dollar Ravioli Casserole features layers of tender ravioli, creamy ricotta, and rich marinara for a delightful experience that warms the soul.


Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a large baking dish.
  2. Cook the ground beef and diced onion in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
  3. Stir in the marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread a layer of the marinara mixture on the bottom of the baking dish.
  5. Layer the frozen cheese ravioli on top.
  6. Add dollops of ricotta cheese and sprinkle with mozzarella.
  7. Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used, finishing with marinara and parmesan on top.
  8. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for about 25 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbling and golden brown.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken. Incorporate veggies for added nutrition.
