- 1 package frozen cheese ravioli
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a large baking dish.
- Cook the ground beef and diced onion in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
- Stir in the marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a layer of the marinara mixture on the bottom of the baking dish.
- Layer the frozen cheese ravioli on top.
- Add dollops of ricotta cheese and sprinkle with mozzarella.
- Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used, finishing with marinara and parmesan on top.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for about 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbling and golden brown.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken. Incorporate veggies for added nutrition.
