- 2 Salmon Fillets (about 6 oz each, skin-on or off)
- 2 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 2 Cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/4 Cup Chicken Broth
- 2 Tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1 Tablespoon Chopped Fresh Parsley (or dill)
- Salt and Black Pepper to taste
- Lemon slices, for garnish
Instructions
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, then sear the salmon fillets for 4-6 minutes per side. Remove from skillet.
- Add butter to the skillet and once melted, cook minced garlic for about 30 seconds. Then add chicken broth and lemon juice, simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Return salmon to the skillet, spoon sauce over, and let it sit for a minute. Garnish with lemon slices.
