This lemon butter salmon recipe delivers restaurant-quality flavor in under 30 minutes, featuring flaky salmon drenched in a zesty, buttery sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Salmon Fillets (about 6 oz each, skin-on or off)
  • 2 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 Cup Chicken Broth
  • 2 Tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon Chopped Fresh Parsley (or dill)
  • Salt and Black Pepper to taste
  • Lemon slices, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, then sear the salmon fillets for 4-6 minutes per side. Remove from skillet.
  3. Add butter to the skillet and once melted, cook minced garlic for about 30 seconds. Then add chicken broth and lemon juice, simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Return salmon to the skillet, spoon sauce over, and let it sit for a minute. Garnish with lemon slices.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Can be reheated gently in a skillet or microwave.
