Description

A luscious chocolate cake infused with caramel and topped with toffee crunch, perfect for gatherings and indulgence.


Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients needed for the mix)
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 jar (12 oz) caramel sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups whipped topping
  • 1 cup Heath toffee bits (crushed)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to the temperature indicated on the cake mix box.
  2. Prepare the chocolate cake mix following the package instructions.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  4. Bake according to the package directions.
  5. Cool the cake for about 10 minutes.
  6. Poke holes all over the top of the cake with a wooden spoon handle or skewer.
  7. Mix the sweetened condensed milk and caramel sauce until smooth.
  8. Pour this mixture evenly over the warm cake.
  9. Cool completely on the counter then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  10. Spread the whipped topping evenly across the cake.
  11. Sprinkle the crushed Heath toffee bits and optional chocolate chips on top.
  12. Serve chilled and enjoy!
