Description

Delightful crispy wontons filled with rich feta, drizzled with sweet and spicy honey.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pack (12 ounces) of wonton wrappers
  • 8 ounces of feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup of ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup of cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 small bunch of fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Combine crumbled feta, ricotta, and cream cheese in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  2. Add honey, red pepper flakes, olive oil, garlic powder, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until fully incorporated.
  3. Lay a wonton wrapper flat. Place 1 tablespoon of filling in the center, moisten edges with water.
  4. Fold the wrapper to form a triangle, pressing edges to seal.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat until 350°F (175°C).
  6. Fry wonton rolls in batches for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
  7. Remove fried wontons and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
  8. Serve warm, drizzled with extra honey and garnished with parsley.

Notes

Consider adding spices like cumin or paprika for extra flavor. Ensure oil is hot enough for frying.
