Description

Delicious chicken tenders coated in a crispy crust and tossed in a rich honey garlic sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • Optional: red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken tenders generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Set up your dredging station: coat chicken in flour, dip in beaten egg, and roll in panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Place the coated chicken tenders in the basket, ensuring not to overcrowd.
  5. Air fry for about 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Melt butter in a small pan over medium heat and add minced garlic.
  7. Sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  8. Stir in honey, soy sauce, and optional red pepper flakes, simmering until thickened.
  9. Toss the cooked chicken in the sauce or drizzle over the top.
  10. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh, high-quality chicken for better flavor. Let breaded tenders rest for 10-15 minutes before cooking for crispiness.
