Instructions
- Prepare the dry ingredients: Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Mix the wet ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together sugar, whole milk, egg, and melted butter until combined.
- Combine the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just mixed.
- Add chocolate chips by folding them into the batter carefully.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat, adding 1 tablespoon of butter and 1 teaspoon of canola oil.
- Cook the pancakes: Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake, cooking until bubbles form (2-3 minutes) before flipping.
- Serve warm, topped with extra butter or syrup.
Notes
