- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp dried parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat, add ground beef and onion, and cook until browned (5-7 minutes).
- Drain excess fat and stir in garlic powder, salt, and black pepper; remove from heat and let cool.
- Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
- Separate the biscuit dough and flatten each biscuit into small circles.
- Spoon beef and cheese mixture into the center of each biscuit and fold edges to seal.
- Mix melted butter, Parmesan, minced garlic, and parsley in a bowl; brush over biscuit tops.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown; let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider using different cheeses such as pepper jack or mozzarella. You can also include chopped veggies for a healthier twist.
