Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin), cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz pasta shells
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the steak cubes generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear the steak cubes for approximately 4-5 minutes, flipping occasionally.
  4. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Reduce heat and add the remaining tablespoon of butter, stirring until it melts.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and keep warm.
  7. Boil salted water in a large pot and cook pasta shells until al dente (8-10 minutes).
  8. Drain the shells and set aside.
  9. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in another skillet over medium heat.
  10. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
  11. Stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese until melted.
  12. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  13. Add the cooked pasta shells, tossing to coat.
  14. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Always preheat your skillet for a perfect sear on the steak. Adjust the sauce’s consistency with chicken broth or heavy cream as needed.
