Description
A delightful dish combining ground beef, garlic, and creamy cheese tortellini for a comforting and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1 package (9 oz) cheese tortellini
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Optional: red pepper flakes
- Optional: garlic powder
Instructions
- Prepare the tortellini: Begin by boiling your cheese tortellini according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain the water and set the pasta aside.
- Cook the beef: In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef, seasoned with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until browned, then drain any excess grease for a cleaner taste.
- Sauté the garlic: Add the butter directly to the skillet with the browned beef and let it melt. Once melted, stir in the minced garlic and let it cook for 1-2 minutes until it’s fragrant and golden.
- Combine: Add the drained tortellini back into the skillet. Gently toss everything together, ensuring the pasta is well coated in the garlic butter and beef mixture.
- Serve: Sprinkle the dish with grated Parmesan and a pinch of red pepper flakes if you like a kick. Serve warm, optionally accompanied by extra garlic powder or herbs for enhancement.
Notes
