- 4 oz cream cheese, softened

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl, and set aside.
- Cream softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Incorporate the dry flour mixture into the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Add the semi-sweet chocolate chips and stir for even distribution.
- Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract for the cheesecake filling until creamy.
- Take a tablespoon of cookie dough, flatten it, place a teaspoon of cheesecake filling in the center, and top with another tablespoon of dough.
- Seal the edges to form a ball and place on the baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden edges form, then cool on the sheet for five minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding a pinch of cinnamon or sea salt on top before baking.
