Description

Delicious cookies with a creamy cheesecake center, combining the charm of chocolate chip cookies and the richness of cheesecake.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • For the cheesecake filling:
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl, and set aside.
  3. Cream softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Incorporate the dry flour mixture into the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Add the semi-sweet chocolate chips and stir for even distribution.
  7. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract for the cheesecake filling until creamy.
  8. Take a tablespoon of cookie dough, flatten it, place a teaspoon of cheesecake filling in the center, and top with another tablespoon of dough.
  9. Seal the edges to form a ball and place on the baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
  10. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden edges form, then cool on the sheet for five minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding a pinch of cinnamon or sea salt on top before baking.
