- 3 cups of powdered sugar
- 1 stick of margarine
- 1 container of light and airy Cool Whip
- 1 can of chocolate icing
- 2 tablespoons of milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the cake mix box.
- Prepare the chocolate cake mix per the package instructions.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake the cake until set, then remove it and let it cool completely in the pan.
- Beat together the softened cream cheese and margarine in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
- Gradually add powdered sugar and mix until combined.
- Fold in the Cool Whip and milk until fully blended.
- Cut the cooled cake into squares and half each square horizontally.
- Spread the cream filling between the layers generously.
- Top each filled layer with the cake tops.
- Spread the chocolate icing over the tops.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
