Description

A rich and creamy dessert that combines velvety chocolate and nutty peanut butter in a crunchy graham cracker crust.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for crust)
  • 1/4 cup chopped peanuts (for topping)
  • 2 tbsp melted chocolate (for drizzle)

Instructions

  1. Combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup powdered sugar in a medium bowl.
  2. Press the mixture firmly into the base of a greased 9×9-inch square pan and chill for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Melt the chocolate by combining the semi-sweet chocolate chips and heavy cream in a microwave-safe bowl.
  4. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until glossy and smooth.
  5. Stir in the peanut butter and vanilla extract until thoroughly combined.
  6. Pour the peanut butter-chocolate mixture over the chilled graham cracker crust, spreading it evenly.
  7. Refrigerate for about 1 hour or until the dessert is firm to the touch.
  8. Sprinkle the chopped peanuts generously over the top and drizzle with melted chocolate.
  9. Slice into squares and serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

Try using different nut butters for a unique twist, and consider adding a sprinkle of sea salt for contrast.
