Description

Delight in the rich, savory flavors of crispy baked Parmesan garlic fries, perfectly balanced for crunch and tenderness.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoky paprika
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Wash and peel the potatoes, then slice them into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Soak the fries in cold water for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Drain and rinse the fries under cool water, then pat them dry thoroughly.
  5. In a large bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  6. Coat the dried fries in the olive oil mixture.
  7. Spread the fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  9. Sprinkle the fries with Parmesan cheese and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
  10. Finish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Ensure fries are dry before coating to achieve maximum crispiness. Avoid overcrowding the baking sheet while baking.
