Description

Delicious and innovative cabbage steaks that are crispy on the outside and flavorful with garlic and smoked paprika.


Ingredients

  • 1 head green cabbage
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Carefully slice the cabbage into 3/4-inch thick steaks.
  4. Brush both sides of each cabbage steak with olive oil.
  5. Sprinkle garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper over both sides of each steak.
  6. Place the seasoned cabbage steaks on the baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway.
  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

To store leftovers, cool completely and place in an airtight container. They can last up to three days.
