- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup red velvet cake crumbs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon red food coloring (optional)
- Pinch of salt
- 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips or shaved chocolate
- Optional: Extra cake crumbs or chocolate drizzle for garnish
Instructions
- Whisk together the whole milk, granulated sugar, and cocoa powder until smooth.
- Stir in the heavy cream, vanilla extract, red food coloring (if using), and salt.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Fold in the red velvet cake crumbs and mini chocolate chips during the last minutes of churning.
- Transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze for 3-4 hours.
- Scoop into bowls and garnish with extra cake crumbs or chocolate drizzle.
Notes
