- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 cup low sodium chicken broth

- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 (1 oz.) packet ranch seasoning mix
- Fresh parsley, to garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken by pounding the breasts to an even thickness of about 1 inch, then season with salt and pepper.
- Sear the chicken in a skillet over medium-high heat with 1 tablespoon of butter and olive oil for about 4-5 minutes each side until golden brown. Transfer to a plate.
- Make the sauce by lowering the heat, adding the remaining butter, and creating a roux with flour for about a minute.
- Combine the chicken broth, milk, sour cream, onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and ranch seasoning mix, stirring until smooth.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over it, and simmer for about 5-7 minutes until heated through.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
