A delightful dish that beautifully combines tender shrimp bathed in a rich, velvety sauce, complemented by vibrant fresh spinach.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped, for garnishing
  • Lemon wedges, to serve on the side

Instructions

  1. Prepare the shrimp by peeling and deveining them. Rinse under cold water and pat dry.
  2. Mince the garlic cloves and set aside.
  3. Wash and chop the spinach finely.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add shrimp to the skillet, seasoning with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
  6. Pour heavy cream into the skillet and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in chopped spinach and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Add shrimp back to the skillet, mixing well with the sauce. Heat through and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For a kick, consider adding red pepper flakes or a splash of hot sauce to the creamy sauce. This dish can be served with rice, pasta, or salad.
