- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped, for garnishing
- Lemon wedges, to serve on the side
Instructions
- Prepare the shrimp by peeling and deveining them. Rinse under cold water and pat dry.
- Mince the garlic cloves and set aside.
- Wash and chop the spinach finely.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add shrimp to the skillet, seasoning with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
- Pour heavy cream into the skillet and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in chopped spinach and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add shrimp back to the skillet, mixing well with the sauce. Heat through and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
For a kick, consider adding red pepper flakes or a splash of hot sauce to the creamy sauce. This dish can be served with rice, pasta, or salad.
