- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1/2 cup of chicken broth
- 1/2 cup of grated Asiago cheese
- 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil: In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat until shimmering.
- Season the chicken: Sprinkle both sides of the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cook the chicken: Place the seasoned chicken in the skillet and cook for 6–7 minutes per side or until fully cooked. Remove chicken from skillet.
- Make the creamy sauce: In the same skillet, add 1 cup of heavy cream and 1/2 cup of chicken broth. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add the cheeses: Gradually mix in grated Asiago and Parmesan cheeses until melted and smooth.
- Return the chicken: Place cooked chicken back into the skillet, coating in the sauce, and simmer for 3–4 minutes.
- Garnish and serve: Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.
