Description

Indulge in the rich and creamy flavors of this Copycat Olive Garden Smoked Mozzarella Fondue, perfect for gatherings or cozy nights.


Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, fresh and crusty
  • Olive oil, for that perfect drizzle
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 4 ounces smoked provolone cheese
  • A dash of cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the baguette into 1/4 to 1/2 inch slices and lay them on a baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle them with olive oil and bake for 5 minutes, then flip and bake for an additional 3 minutes.
  4. Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Combine sour cream, mozzarella, Parmesan, thyme, red pepper flakes, and cayenne in a medium bowl.
  6. Spread the cheese mixture in a small baking dish and layer smoked provolone on top.
  7. Bake for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
  8. Broil for about 1 minute until cheese is golden and bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven and serve immediately with toasted baguette slices.
