Description

A mouthwatering combination of crispy fries, rich gravy, and gooey cheese curds that brings warmth and nostalgia.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 batch homemade French fries (or a 28 oz. bag of frozen fries)
  • 6 oz. cheese curds (or cubed mozzarella cheese)
  • 1 batch homemade brown gravy (or use a packet for convenience)
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Prepare the French Fries by cutting the potatoes into thick strips and soaking them in water for at least 30 minutes. Preheat oil to 300°F for frozen fries and fry until just cooked through. Increase temperature to 400°F and fry until crispy and golden brown.
  2. Add the cheese and bake. Preheat the oven to 350°F, spread fries on a baking sheet, sprinkle cheese curds on top, and bake for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Prepare the gravy using your favorite recipe or a packet for convenience.
  4. Assemble the dish by drizzling hot gravy over the fries and melted cheese. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra crispy fries, consider double frying. Experiment with different cheeses or toppings for a unique twist.
