Instructions
- Prepare the Cake: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour the mini cake pans. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar until creamy. Add in the eggs and vanilla, mixing well. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients with whole milk to create a silky batter.
- Bake: Divide the batter among the prepared mini cake pans and bake for 18-20 minutes. A toothpick inserted in the center should come out clean. Let the cakes cool in the pans for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
- Make Ganache: Heat heavy cream over medium heat until simmering. Pour it over dark chocolate chips and let sit for a minute before stirring until smooth.
- Assemble: Once cooled, drizzle ganache over each mini cake, letting it flow down the sides.
