Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients and preheat your heart for the delicious adventure ahead.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Add the all-purpose flour and salt, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  6. Press half of the cookie dough mixture into a greased 9×9-inch baking dish.
  7. Spread the softened vanilla ice cream over the cookie dough layer.
  8. Crumble the remaining cookie dough over the ice cream layer.
  9. Cover the baking dish and freeze for at least 240 minutes.
  10. Once set, melt the chocolate chips and drizzle over the top.
  11. Cut into bars and serve frozen.
