- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the shredded chicken and chopped spinach in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the softened cream cheese and sour cream, then mix in the garlic powder and onion powder, followed by salt and pepper. Stir until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
- Top the mixture with shredded mozzarella cheese and, if desired, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
- Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes.
- Remove it from the oven once bubbly and golden. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a healthier version, consider using whole grain breadcrumbs or Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese.
